Part of Merced

Close to home.

Our community work starts with the roads beside the farm, the teams our families support, and the people who come here to learn.

Campus Parkway cleanup

We help pick up litter along Campus Parkway, taking care of the neighborhood around our farm.

Local team sponsorships

We support local sports teams and the people who keep those programs going.

A farm school in development

We are working toward a hands-on place for students to learn about agriculture, water, technology and farm decisions. The school is still in development.

Learning in the field

We host growers, researchers and community partners to see the work, ask questions and share what they know.

FIELD NOTE 01 / The planting

Three varieties. One place to learn.

We’re growing Yolo, Weber Azul and Espadín at Hunt Farms. Planting something new starts a long list of questions—not a list of guaranteed answers.

What would you record first?

Give each plant or sample group a consistent ID. Record its variety, planting date and location, then take repeat photos from the same spot. A comparison only helps if you know what you’re comparing.

Keep looking. Keep asking. Bring boots.
